prank software package provides Probabilistic Alignment Kit for DNA, codon and amino-acid sequences, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install prank
prank is installed in your system.
Make ensure the prank package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep prank *
You will get with prank package name, version, architecture and description in a table
